Operation Lone Star is a joint yearly civilian & military exercise providing medical help in south Texas. We treat about 10,000 patients in a 2 week period.

Makeshift Pharmacy at Zapata Community Center. Austin Medical soldiers are noted for creativity & field expediency.

Air Force National Guard Medic (L) assists our TX State Guard Physicians Assistant prepare to see patients. Texas Military Forces (Army National Guard, Air National Guard, & TX State Guard) work closely on many missions.
